Pararescue

Pararescue is a highly specialised initial response SAR service that is used to respond to calls for assistance to incidents that are outside of normal helicopter range, over land or offshore.

Pararescue teams include highly trained, multi skilled  personnel, capable of dealing with a large range of potential emergency situations, to deploy and sustain life for as long as it takes until more comprehensive backup resources arrive on scene.

These teams typically search for and locate survivors, deliver supplies by either linked supply drop or air droppable cargo chutes, parachute to the scene and provide medical assistance and facilitate the evacuation of survivors.

Pararescue is generally used for long range, remote, search and rescue operations.

Global Rescue provides specialist training and / or operational management for the establishment of Pararescue Services.
