Globally, it is recognised that the ‘Golden Hour’ response with medical services to emergencies increases survivability rates of injured or sick persons to 80%. After the ‘Golden Hour’ has passed, the survivability rate reduces to only 20%, making it imperative that critical care medical services are delivered in the quickest possible time frame.
